Terms and conditions

1. THE PROMOTER
1.1 The promoter is Stroud Valley Painting and Decorating of 8 Eagle Close, Chalford, Gloucestershire, GL6 8FH.
1.2 Stroud Valley Painting and Decorating Competitions are categorised as unregulated prize competitions and free draws under the Gambling Act 2005. No licence is required to operate these competitions.

2. THE COMPETITIONS
2.1 All competitions promoted by Stroud Valley Painting and Decorating are skill based and require a correct answer to the qualifying question to enter.
2.2 All competitions promoted by Stroud Valley Painting and Decorating may be entered via the website by purchasing tickets or by postal entry for free.
2.3 All competitions promoted by Stroud Valley Painting and Decorating will run until the stated closing date and will not be extended or rolled over. All dates and times are that of the United Kingdom, GMT. No postal or paid entries will be accepted for any competition after it's stated closing date.
2.4 One draw will be made per competition period. One winner will be drawn and awarded their selected prize. There will not be a separate draw for each prize package.
2.5 A winner for each competition period will be drawn from the entrants with registered correct answers using Google's Random Number Generator.
2.6 All prize winners will be notified within one day of the prize draw via the contact details provided to us.

3. ENTRANT ELIGIBILITY
3.1 All competitions promoted by Stroud Valley Painting and Decorating are open to persons over the age of 18.
3.2 All competitions promoted by Stroud Valley Painting and Decorating are open to residents of mainland United Kingdom excluding Northern Ireland and Channel Islands.
3.3 Employees and their associates, family members and friends are restricted from enter any competition promoted by Stroud Valley Painting and Decorating.
3.4 By entering any competition promoted by Stroud Valley Painting and Decorating  you confirm that you are eligible to do so as per out terms and conditions.

4. PRIZES
4.1 All winners will receive the prize package they have chosen. If multiple prizes have been selected with multiple tickets, the winner will receive the prize associated with the winning ticket number.
4.2 Prizes are subject to availability. Stroud Valley Painting and Decorating reserve the right to substitute any unavailable prize with that of equal or greater value.
4.3 For prizes that consist of home improvements, makeovers and redecoration, the following terms and conditions apply:
4.3.1 Full property makeovers and redecorations are applicable up to and including the size of a 4 bedroom home. Any larger homes may not qualify.
4.3.2 Full professional redecoration is to consist of preparation and painting/wallpapering of walls, ceilings, skirting boards, door frames/architraves, doors, coving, dado/picture rails and skirting boards including minor/moderate cosmetic repairs. This does not include repairing any major cosmetic or structural damage or plastering, carpentry or joinery.
4.3.3 In some circumstances we may recommend use of a different brand of paint, this will be discussed during consultations.
4.4 For home improvement/makeover/redecoration prizes, we will commence all work within 12 weeks of winner notification.
4.5 For prize packages that do not include any home improvement/makeover/redecoration services, prizes will be issued to the winner within 2 weeks.
